In this role, you will work on cutting-edge cooling technologies with real-world impact. As a Senior Man ufacturing Design Engineer in Littleton, MA , you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between engineering and production. You will work closely with design, supply chain, and operations teams to bring our liquid cooling systems to life, ensuring they’re manufacturable, testable, and scalable for high-volume deployment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in thermal systems, electronics, or fluid systems.
  • Experience with high-volume production, including scaling from prototype to mass manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, brazing, welding, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and process simulation.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems.
  • Ability to maintain an active pulse on emerging manufacturing technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced product development environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with datacenter infrastructure and server manufacturing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC standards, and RoHS compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design and thermal engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of liquid cooling components and assemblies.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes including assembly, brazing, welding, leak testing, and quality control.
  • Design and build fixtures and tooling for efficient assembly and testing of cooling systems.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, and PFMEAs.
  • Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-up activities.
  • Drive DFM/DFA initiatives to reduce cost and improve throughput.
  • Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on scalability, quality, and cost.
  • Stay agile and responsive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting processes as products evolve.
