About The Position

Responsible for the overall C&W Global Occupier Technical Services Platform globally. Develops a thorough understanding of client’s business strategies and aligns Technical Services to support those objectives. Responsible leadership of the Technical Services Platform which includes: leading the overall Engineering Platform, Building Engineering including Stationary and Mobile Engineering, Data & Analytics group, and Asset Management,

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required, Advanced degree strongly preferred
  • 15+ years in Facilities Engineering or technical services management, including outsourced facility management and mobile engineering
  • PE license preferred, not required
  • Technology: Expertise with asset management/CMMS platforms, highly proficient with MS Office Suite, including ability to perform Internet based research
  • Experience with high-level, complex Facility and Engineering operations including asset management, maintenance best practices, safety,
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required
  • Strong competency in strategic planning, execution and business acumen
  • Competency in Resource Allocation and Implementation
  • Accomplished relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities required
  • Team strategic development and leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a Client-Driven approach by marshaling the resources across all core capabilities and corporate functions to ensure superior service to both internal and external clients for all Technical Services.
  • Create community of practice of technical resource leaders across GOS business to drive consistency, training, and auditability to service delivery.
  • Develop the growth strategy for Technical Services within C&W.
  • Supports new business opportunities with an emphasis on strategically identified target clients
  • Aligns technology requirements, business intelligence reporting, predictive and prescriptive analytics to the changing needs of the marketplace across the IFM Service Line.
  • Ensures a high level of client satisfaction, establishing and managing the service delivery, delivering key initiatives and well as ensuring consistency in processes, reporting and operational delivery.
  • Updates senior management on issues related to facilities engineering and presents solutions to mitigate challenges
  • Establish the vision and strategy of the Technical Services organization and ensuring clients receive exceptional service.
  • Consults with customers on changing industry trends/projections/budget planning/etc.
  • Lead the Asset Management strategy for GOS
  • Oversee the Variable Mobile Engineering team. Working with the Mobile Engineering leader to develop and deliver growth strategy and P&L targets.
  • Responsible for engineering and asset support for IFM transitions
  • Lead organization to provide business ownership and services as operational SME’s for IFM CMMS system(s)
  • Identifies opportunities for delivery, service quality, innovation and process improvement in technical services on an on-going basis.
  • Manage and enhance a sustainable performance measurements for internal benchmarking and identify industry data to leverage for external benchmarking.
  • Actively manage and mentor future leadership and management of the organization. Work to identify top engineering talent and focus on the development and retention of these key players.
  • Supports sales and marketing efforts to secure new business. Works as part of business development team to develop service delivery strategies, structure service delivery model, alternative pricing and identify team members and lead multi-disciplinary team preparing responses to RFPs and presentations.
  • Responsible for budgeting for Technical Services Platform
  • Work with teams to design reporting products to meet the client’s unique requirements
  • Implement standard processes and best practices that maximize facility engineering efficiencies
