About The Position

Boeing’s Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) organization is seeking a Senior Manager (Level M) to lead a geographically dispersed, high-performing team of project and construction management subject matter experts, people leaders, individual contributors, and contracted partners. This is a high-visibility role with responsibility for supporting a significant portfolio of PACE projects and strategic initiatives. The Senior Manager will partner closely with business unit and enterprise stakeholders to drive strong relationships, sound execution, and positive business outcomes. Success in this role requires deep expertise and hands-on experience in project and construction management, facilities and infrastructure development, contracting methodologies, financial management, long-range planning, and executive-level communication, along with a proven ability to build trusted business partnerships. This hybrid opportunity is available at any of the following Boeing sites: El Segundo, CA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; or North Charleston, SC; Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities or construction project management
  • 3+ years of experience leading projects and/or teams
  • Experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
  • Experience in a role requiring presentation skills
  • 50% domestic travel

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning
  • 5+ years of experience with Executive communications
  • 5+ years of experience with finance oversight
  • 5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, and developing others
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams of both contracted service providers and direct hire personnel

Responsibilities

  • CoE / OpEx (Operational Excellence) framework and systems architecture: Lead an integrated CoE (Center of Excellence) that standardizes processes, tooling, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and systems for project controls and asset/maintenance management, including technology selection and supplier implementations for a single source of truth
  • Influence and stakeholder engagement: Forge and maintain stakeholder relationships, secure resources, negotiate trade-offs, and represent facilities strategy and technical cases to leadership
  • Project scoping, scheduling, execution and closeout and risk mitigation: Oversee consistent project lifecycles from scope to closeout while enforcing standards and driving proactive risk and supplier mitigation
  • Resource allocation and performance to plan: Allocate and optimize resources across regions, monitor performance versus baselines, and enact corrective actions and standardized forecasting
  • Project tracking and reporting systems: Build and improve tracking, dashboards and metrics with defined cadence and escalation to ensure data integrity and portfolio visibility
  • Strategy and long-range business planning: Develop multi‑year facilities and capital roadmaps aligned to enterprise and sustainability goals and convert them into executable portfolios and asset plans
  • Supplier management and technical oversight: Provide technical direction, oversee supplier performance and source selection, and lead disciplined make/buy and cost‑risk decisions
  • Talent development and people management: Grow and motivate mid‑level managers and technical staff via coaching, competency frameworks and succession-focused development
  • Continuous improvement and process leadership: Drive OpEx initiatives to reduce cost and increase uptime, institutionalize lessons learned, standardize best practices, and measure ROI
