JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, People Analytics supports and empowers HR and business leaders with data driven insights that enhance understanding of workforce dynamics and inform People strategy. This role applies advanced analytics, workforce planning, and storytelling to translate complex people data into clear, actionable insights tied to business outcomes. The position leads workforce planning analytics across multiple creative and operational projects, supporting talent supply, demand, capacity, and organizational effectiveness. The Sr. Manager partners cross functionally and cross company to align data definitions, usage, and interpretation, ensuring a trusted, consistent source of truth while converting analytics into plain language narratives that explain workforce trends and employee behaviors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required in a quantitative or related field such as data analytics, business analytics, management science, industrial engineering, economics, mathematics, or statistics.
  • 7+ years working in a quantitative environment with progressively complex modeling and analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience using BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, PeopleSoft, PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel, including complex data analysis, reporting, and data validation.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing large, confidential data sets across multiple sources while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, project management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently identify key issues, patterns, and deviations from norms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven understanding of workforce analytics, workforce planning, and actionable people insights.
  • Effective listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of HR practices and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Comfortable quickly learning, adopting, and working within new and evolving data platforms and analytics technologies.
  • Willingness to proactively build new skills to remain current and effective in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Use quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies to evaluate workforce programs, organizational structures, and current and future state workforce models within a large, complex global organization.
  • Apply advanced trend analysis, statistical techniques, and predictive modeling to identify correlations and validate insights across multiple data sets.
  • Translate complex people analytics into clear, plain language insights and compelling narratives that describe workforce trends, organizational patterns, and employee behaviors in ways that are easily understood by non technical audiences.
  • Clearly articulate what the data indicates, why it matters, and how it impacts business and talent outcomes.
  • Create, update and maintain all workforce planning within the Clickup PM platform to support multiple creative projects, enabling leaders to make informed decisions related to staffing, timing, skills, and capacity.
  • Measure and assess organizational processes and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness and alignment.
  • Design and deliver dashboards, visualizations, exhibits, organizational charts, and presentations that clearly communicate complex people data.
  • Create visualizations from scratch that effectively summarize and highlight key insights.
  • Prepare executive level summaries and materials that support workforce planning, talent strategy, and leadership decision making.
  • Maintain and enhance core HR dashboards to monitor trends, identify anomalies, highlight behavioral indicators, and focus attention on priority areas.
  • Continuously evolve global dashboards and analytics to support both ongoing operations and special workforce planning or creative project needs.
  • Evaluate and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and sources by identifying key data fields, cleansing and translating data, and consolidating information into a reliable, singular source.
  • Lead cross functional and cross company alignment on data definitions, governance, and interpretation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to define reporting requirements related to workforce composition, capacity, turnover, performance, and engagement.
  • Fulfill global and enterprise wide reporting requests and summarize insights in ways that connect metrics to observable workforce behaviors and trends.
  • Continuously assess, audit, and recommend enhancements to existing reports and reporting processes.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand business objectives, creative project timelines, and workforce implications.
  • Translate broad business questions into actionable analytics, tools, and insights that support data driven workforce and talent decisions.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations with influence to diverse audiences across the organization, using clear language and storytelling techniques to explain what the data means and how it reflects employee and organizational behavior.
  • Collaborate with Finance analytics and HR teams across Parks, NBCU, Comcast, and the broader enterprise to share best practices, tools, and approaches.
  • Research external benchmarks and market trends to inform people analytics and workforce planning strategies.
  • Demonstrate proficiency across core enterprise systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, PowerPoint and Excel) while remaining adaptable and comfortable adopting new and emerging data platforms, analytics tools, and technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, improved accuracy, self service reporting, and process optimization.
  • Facilitate data and process documentation to ensure efficiency and alignment.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
