Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses of all sizes. The U.S. Small Business and Middle Market (SME) segment represents the largest GCS customer base and continues to be a key driver of growth and strategic investment. The Tele Sales Marketing & Enablement team, part of the Middle Market Prospect organization, is responsible for delivering best-in-class B2B marketing strategies that enable Sales colleagues to effectively acquire and convert high-value SME prospects. The Sr. Manager, U.S. SME Acquisition Marketing will play a critical role in shaping and executing marketing strategies that drive prospect acquisition and conversion through the Tele Sales channel. This includes ownership of offer strategy, warm lead sourcing and integration, value-story sales enablement content and performance optimization. The role also leads forecasting, reporting, and bottom-up planning for the channel, while driving cross-functional initiatives to enhance the end-to-end prospect experience—including Small Business application journeys and disclosure accuracy across Phone-Assist and Digital paths & go-to-market execution for new product launches and refreshes. This individual will operate in a highly matrixed environment, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing Analytics, Product, Technology, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing marketing solutions. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to influence stakeholders and lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing preferred (or equivalent)
  • Extremely detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results through data driven analysis, with a background in performance marketing & forecasting
  • Creative, goal-oriented professional with a proven track record for driving innovation and setting effective plans to achieve targets.
  • Experience in project management with the ability to juggle many deadlines & work streams
  • Collaborative self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to effectively distill complex material and convey the “so what” in a clear, compelling & concise manner to large scale audiences across all levels
  • Customer-focused mindset; excited and passionate about creating a great sales experience through Marketing levers

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end marketing strategy and channel management for the Tele Sales team, including partnership with Sales leaders & Customer Facing Colleagues (CFCs) through development of compelling value stories, sales narratives, and talk tracks that enable Sales to effectively communicate product benefits and drive acquisition and deliver on goals.
  • Own and optimize offer strategy to ensure strong channel ROIs and improvements in lead conversion.
  • Focus on warm lead sourcing and lead nurture strategies—including call and email sequencing, cadence optimization, and integration of high-impact lead sources.
  • Drive forecasting, results reporting for the Tele Sales channel, leveraging data to inform budget allocation and strategic decisions.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to Product teams to support go-to-market execution for new product launches, refreshes, and campaigns—ensuring Sales colleagues have compelling, timely, and relevant marketing assets and offers.
  • Lead a structured test-and-learn agenda across offers, lead strategies, and sales engagement approaches to continuously optimize performance and improve ROI.
  • Identify, develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to enhance call effectiveness, customer experience, compliance, and growth across dual and non-dual sales teams (SBS and Corporate).
  • Partner cross-functionally to influence and secure alignment on strategic initiatives across the full prospect journey—from lead generation to conversion.
  • Lead development of clear, compelling, and compliant change management materials for Sales teams; ensure alignment and approvals across governance partners.
  • Identify and drive improvements to the end-to-end US SME application experience and disclosure accuracy across Phone-Assist and Digital pathways.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to large audiences (100+ colleagues), translating complex strategies into clear, actionable insights.
  • Manage and develop one full-time Analyst.
