Senior Manager, Transformation Finance Description - Job Summary Applies broad financial and business acumen to support HP’s enterprise‑wide AI Transformation strategy, including financial performance and operational effectiveness. Acts as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on the development and review of transformation initiatives and leads a small, high-impact team to review initiatives, advise on investment trade-offs, and monitor the results of approved transformation activities. Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving most complex business/technical issues within established policies. Plans, manages and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' primary focus is on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both.

Requirements

  • Four‑year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data/Analytics, or related field—or commensurate experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in Finance, Transformation, FP&A, Internal Audit, accounting, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a key advisor to senior leadership on AI adoption within global processes, systems, and policies to support long‑term organizational goals and AI Transformation program deliverables.
  • Ensures the development and execution of transformation solutions aligned with strategic capital‑allocation decisions, investment governance, and return‑on‑investment expectations.
  • Identifies and quantifies improvement opportunities across processes, reporting, automation, decision support, and controls; drives recommendations that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and business value.
  • Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and scalability of financial processes, reporting mechanisms, and analytical tools implemented as part of transformation programs.
  • Leads financial modeling, scenario planning, and forecasting activities that support transformation initiatives, including investment cases and benefit‑realization tracking.
  • Collaborates as a strategic partner across functions to align business and Finance transformation strategies, driving sustainable, profitable growth and operational excellence.
  • Applies expert knowledge of finance operations, systems, and transformation methodologies to shape best practices across businesses and regions.
  • Drives organizational change management, including stakeholder alignment, communication, talent strategy, and capability development.
  • Works closely with Finance leadership and Investor Relations for external reporting and disclosure related to Transformation program performance.
  • Supports the full Strategy & Transformation organization spend budget, flash, and reporting processes, advising leaders on both financial and operational metrics.
  • Oversee design and reinforcement of strong internal controls and compliance frameworks related to reporting for Transformation Program Initiatives.
  • Applies expert subject matter knowledge, shapes knowledge base across businesses, functions, or regions, and provides strong leadership, driving change initiatives and monitoring performance goals.
  • Drives talent management, employee selection, succession planning, performance management, compensation management, employee development and coaching in career development, and operational management.
