About The Position

The Senior Manager, Technology Strategy will study market and operational issues, devise solutions, and facilitate new technology investments, software acquisitions, and product roadmap development in areas such as AI, analytics, automation, operational systems, and business applications. Develop new operating, engagement, and learning models for technology across various business units. Engage with engineering, operations, and administrative teams to streamline operations and drive process improvements. Work across the company's business units to understand and identify asset and operational needs and develop effective and scalable solutions to complex problems through development of models, scenario analysis, and help implement projects. Conduct research on technology products for the business units, including identifying and interviewing experts, designing and running surveys, synthesizing market research. Build financial models to quantify the financial impact of a project or investment including developing key assumptions, creating scenarios, adjusting for risk and uncertainty, and incorporating key technological drivers that may affect business decisions. Synthesize and present findings to executives and senior management. Create valuation models, conduct risk analysis, and perform financial and operational diligence to provide and explain recommendations regarding investment in both capital and operational expenditures. Perform statistical analysis of large and complex data sets to generate insights to support improved decision-making for the business. Support sharing of information and best practices between business units to maximize value for the company overall. This position will be working a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week at the company's Los Angeles, CA office, and the option to telecommute from within the US permissible twice per week. Position requires domestic travel up to 10% of the time and international travel up to 5% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree with a concentration in Information Technology, Management, or closely related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible, post baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or a related position involving management or investment/asset analysis.
