About The Position

The Senior Manager – Reverse Supply Chain Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing the returns process for Sam’s Club. This role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, drives operational efficiency, and delivers financial recovery targets. It requires strong collaboration across merchants, legal, and analytics teams to maintain seamless reverse logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in reverse logistics or supply chain operations with proven leadership in process optimization.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data, develop performance reports, and use reporting tools effectively.
  • Contractual Knowledge: Understanding of vendor agreements, compliance standards, and dispute resolution practices.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work across merchants, legal, and analytics teams.
  • Project Management: Experience in planning and executing operational transitions and managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
  • 2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Reverse Supply Chain Operations: Oversee all aspects of returns processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution of policies.
  • Manage Contracts and Compliance: Validate supplier agreements, monitor adherence to return policies, and resolve disputes with vendors and merchants.
  • Analyze Data and Report Performance: Prepare recovery rate reports, analyze financial metrics, and present insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive Project and Transition Planning: Develop and execute transition plans for operational changes, including coordination during organizational shifts or LOA periods.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with merchants, legal, and analytics teams to align on reverse supply chain initiatives and communicate updates effectively.
