Walmart Global Logistics is a newly launched business that offers international freight forwarding and transportation services to Walmart marketplace sellers. Our mission is to simplify cross-border trade for sellers of all sizes through a people led, technology enabled global logistics network. We are looking for a dynamic entrepreneur to lead the implementation of our global logistics pricing strategy and manage pricing operations. In this role, you'll manage global logistics pricing with a specific focus on Air Freight and Ocean LCL products. You'll be working closely with marketplace, procurement, operations and tech teams to drive growth and lower logistics costs for customers. The role is based in Bentonville, Arkansas and reports to the Director of Global Logistics Pricing and Revenue Management.

Requirements

  • You possess superior communication skills, flexibility, and ability to juggle multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • You're experienced with executing cross functional projects without direct authority over the teams involved.
  • You have a background in air and/or ocean freight forwarding, supply chain, and cross border logistics pricing and revenue management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 6 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
  • 2 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Thinking Big - You will support the development of global logistics pricing roadmap and execute the Air Freight and Ocean LCL pricing policy to exceed customer expectations.
  • Deliver for the Customer - You will lead a customer-first approach, understand market pricing trends and ensure the correct, accurate and timely execution of the pricing strategy.
  • Moving Fast - You will use your global logistics and pricing domain expertise to support the development of pricing capabilities. You will remove obstacles and barriers to deliver growth.
  • Lead Pricing Operations - You will implement the pricing policy to achieve revenue growth goals, plans, and business requirements. You will ensure that pricing execution leads to increased customer adoption and achievement of the financial targets.
  • Work Cross-Functionally - Communication and collaboration are key to your success. You will collaborate and communicate clearly with internal partners across marketplace, tech, procurement and operational organizations to successfully implement pricing strategy.
