About the team: The Global Logistics Destination Operations team oversees the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers. This team collaborates with internal and external partners to resolve operational challenges, improve processes, and maintain compliance with company standards. They analyze data to enhance network efficiency and support business goals related to sales, inventory, and profitability. The team leads performance management, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and fosters a culture of accountability and integrity. Their efforts ensure seamless supply chain execution aligned with Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. What you'll do: Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers. Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and return issues. Lead relationships with external partners, communicating expectations and overseeing compliance through audits and performance scorecards. Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to optimize sales, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals. Drive process improvements using lean concepts and cost reduction strategies to enhance service levels and operational efficiency. Supervise and develop associates, fostering a team environment with clear performance expectations and coaching. Support business plans by removing obstacles, measuring progress, and adapting strategies to meet operational needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain processes and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and resolve supply chain exceptions.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Expertise in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence and align cross-functional partners.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
  • Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset to support evolving business needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
  • 2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
