About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Strategic Initiatives Enablement, Wealth Solutions Strategy will work as a member of the Wealth Solutions team of AssetMark, Inc. In this capacity, the Sr. Manager, Strategic Initiatives Enablement will report directly to the VP of RIA Wealth Management Solutions, and partner with the senior Wealth Solutions Leadership team to stay abreast of the RIA Channel focus, scaling business opportunities, support our M&A process, and drive other strategic programs that drive firm growth. Our ideal candidate is intellectually curious, for constant improvement, and excels in a highly collaborative culture. This position will also require you to dig into current processes to help resolve disparate business processes to further scale future growth, and will support both existing and new strategic initiatives. A successful candidate provides fact-based reporting, business opportunities, or other insights that inform AssetMark’s product, strategy, and innovation. We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Concord, CA, or Charlotte, NC offices.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple products or programs simultaneously, with the capability of switching between high-level strategic thinking and a tactical opportunity mindset
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with senior leadership up to and including the C-Suite
  • Flexible mindset and ability to adapt quickly to new demands and challenges (able to deal with ambiguous situations, frequent change, or unexpected events)
  • A strong action orientation
  • Excellent oral / written communication, presentation, and listening skills
  • Partners well with colleagues and outside business partners to get work done

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or other related fields, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • A combination of strategy analysis and/or experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong quantitative skills with strengths in the areas of strategy, analytic assessment, communication skills, and display ingenuity and tenacity in delivering high-quality results
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of a forward-looking program roadmap driving transparency for consensus, insight, and leadership decisions with enterprise strategy and executive priorities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, including, but not limited to, TMS, Direct Indexing, ETF Essentials, FI Onboarding, Private Markets, and SBDA, with advisor and client needs at the forefront
  • Direct and organize product, marketing, and operations for RIA-focused go-to-market / commercial-ready execution
  • Drive collaboration with AssetMark and Adhesion’s investment teams to provide a unified team by navigating conflict, utilizing emotional intelligence, and aligning the team
  • Align, focus, and support investment product objectives, ensuring successful implementation
  • All other duties assigned
