We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join Reddit’s Strategic Finance team and partner directly with North America Sales and Agency leadership across LCS, Mid Market and SMB This role sits at the center of how our largest and most complex revenue region scales. You’ll help shape revenue forecasts, establish standards for complex commercial structures, protect margin while enabling growth, build discipline around KPIs, evaluate ROI on major investments, and bring clarity to ambiguous questions by deeply understanding where the data lives and how to turn it into actionable, decision ready insight. You’ll operate as a trusted thought partner to senior Sales and Finance leadership, owning analyses end to end and influencing real decisions. While this is an individual contributor role, it carries significant ownership, visibility, and strategic scope, with the opportunity to expand into broader leadership as the team grows. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, investment banking, management consulting, or a highly analytical business role.
  • Exceptional analytical and logical problem solving skills; you enjoy understanding how businesses, systems, and incentives truly work.
  • Advanced Google Sheets / Excel skills (financial modeling, complex formulas, clean and repeatable reporting).
  • SQL proficiency, comfortable pulling, modifying, and validating queries independently.
  • Experience with tools such as Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, and Looker (or comparable systems).
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguity: you can frame problems, identify the right data, and move forward without waiting for perfect inputs.
  • Strong communicator who can synthesize complexity and influence senior stakeholders with clear, structured narratives.
  • Curious, proactive, and action oriented. You ask questions, test hypotheses, and iterate quickly.
  • Comfortable moving fast, occasionally breaking things, and rebuilding them better.

Nice To Haves

  • experience supporting ads, marketplaces, or agency driven sales models, but more important is intellectual rigor, sound judgment, and the desire to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with North America Sales & Agency leadership to understand revenue drivers, pipeline dynamics, supply constraints, and performance trends, translating these into high quality forecasts and strategic insight.
  • Serve as the finance thought partner to the Agency organization, helping shape commercial strategy, incentive structures, and operating norms.
  • Design and operationalize standards for complex deal economics, including agency agreements, partner incentives, and bespoke commercial constructs.
  • Drive margin protection and sustainable revenue growth by evaluating deal structures, identifying economic trade offs, and guiding leadership toward disciplined decision making.
  • Build and operationalize variance analysis across core P&L KPIs (revenue, productivity, margin, OpEx), establishing a rigorous monthly and quarterly operating cadence.
  • Act as a domain expert across key data sources (Adaptive, Looker, Salesforce, Google Sheets, SQL environments), responding to ad hoc questions quickly, accurately, and proactively.
  • Identify what data is needed to answer the question, not just what already exists, and drive improvements to underlying reporting and data quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Consolidated Strategic Finance, Corporate FP&A, Revenue Strategy & Ops, Accounting, Product, and Marketing to drive alignment and decision making.
