Strategic Finance Manager

Keller PostmanChicago, IL
3h$140,000 - $170,000Onsite

About The Position

This role will sit at Keller Postman’s affiliated entity, Atticor Group LLC. Atticor is building a scaled, AI-enabled platform in the personal injury and single-event legal market. We combine a disciplined regional acquisition strategy, a de novo nationwide brand, and an AI-native services business operating through a Management Services Organization (MSO) structure. The platform is backed by $600M+ of debt and equity capital and currently has $500M of revenue either closed or under signed term sheet, with a robust acquisition pipeline. We are scaling rapidly and building institutional-grade infrastructure across finance, operations, and technology. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help architect the finance and reporting engine of a platform designed for significant scale. We are hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to be a key leader within the Strategic Finance team. This role sits at the center of the consolidated platform’s reporting across MSO entities, law firm financial performance, acquisition integration and normalization, marketing and unit economics analytics, and executive and investor reporting. You will lead the design, buildout, and scaling of the company’s financial reporting and analytics infrastructure. This role requires strong technical capability, systems thinking, and the ability to operate as a strategic partner to executive leadership. There will be evenings and occasional weekends, particularly around close cycles, acquisitions, board reporting, and capital markets activities. This is a full-time, in-person role in our Chicago office. Compensation for the role is an annual base salary of $140,000 to $170,000, depending on experience; plus the role is eligible for competitive year-end discretionary bonus and benefits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance, private equity-backed companies, investment banking, or complex operating businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and scale reporting infrastructure (not just maintain it).
  • Experience managing multi-entity consolidations and acquisition integration workflows.
  • Strong systems mindset with a process-oriented approach to scale.
  • Excellent executive communication skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members preferred.
  • BI tool exposure (Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in private equity roll-ups, MSO structures, or professional services businesses preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve monthly consolidated reporting across the platform, including MSO entities, law firm entities, and corporate cost centers.
  • Design and implement standardized P&L mapping across acquired firms.
  • Architect scalable reporting templates and integration workflows for new acquisitions.
  • Lead EBITDA normalization framework and integration adjustments.
  • Ensure reporting integrity, auditability, and timeliness across multi-entity consolidations.
  • Design and rebuild core reporting architecture for long-term durability and scale.
  • Drive automation initiatives and reduce manual reporting processes.
  • Develop structured, reliable data outputs from accounting and operational systems.
  • Partner on BI tool implementation and dashboard strategy.
  • Establish repeatable reporting frameworks to support rapid acquisition growth.
  • Lead marketing unit economics analysis, margin expansion initiatives, and operating leverage modeling.
  • Support and refine acquisition underwriting models and integration tracking processes.
  • Build and oversee scenario modeling related to growth strategy, capital structure, and financing activities.
  • Monitor and report on performance versus acquisition models and investment theses.
  • Lead preparation and refinement of board, lender, and investor reporting materials.
  • Translate financial and operational performance into executive-ready narratives.
  • Partner directly with leadership on strategic initiatives and capital markets activities.
  • Provide guidance and quality control over analyst-level work.
  • Partner with accounting, operations, marketing, and executive leadership to align reporting and analytics.
  • Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions across teams.
