What You Will Achieve In this role, you will: Apply skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to work within the Sub Business Unit, making decisions to resolve moderately complex problems and developing new options guided by policies Work indirectly reviewed through consultation and agreement, and may review the work of others within the Sub Business Unit Enable the delivery of projects and programs using both standard commercial roadmap patterns and innovative technologies across various systems disciplines Create technical designs and implementation plans, leading software engineers with a strong understanding of agile principles, and setting technical objectives Manage one or more scrum teams with ongoing activities across all commercial business units within a product grouping and portfolio of projects Oversee release management of related platforms, working with infrastructure and shared service organizations to procure and manage stable application platforms Manage budgets and resources to meet goals across multiple projects, establishing relationships with customers and project delivery team members, and acting as a liaison between customers and technical team members Participate in vendor management activities, embedding Continuous Improvement and automation into daily work, and fostering a DevOps culture within the team Here Is What You Need (Basic Requirements) BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of experience Proven experience working with business teams to develop and deliver strategy and operating plans Demonstrated expertise as an information technology professional in roles such as a software developer or technical project manager Experience managing teams of contract or colleague resources Ability to systematically estimate technical projects High level of business knowledge and understanding of the external marketplace Capable of leading in a complex, matrix environment with geographically distributed resources Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Requirements
