About The Position

The Senior Manager, Software Engineering is a people-first technology leader who inspires, develops, and empowers engineering teams to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable solutions that elevate the employee experience. This role oversees multiple engineering disciplines - currently including a combination of Power Platform, ServiceNow, Workday, UKG, Automations, and Conversational AI - ensuring alignment with Asurion's vision of Effective Tech. Efficient Employees. The Senior Manager partners closely with Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders to translate strategy into action, drive technical excellence, and foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and architecture principles.
  • Experience leading teams building solutions across enterprise SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Power Platform, Workday, UKG).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development, APIs/integrations, and automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical strategies.
  • Strategic thinking and vision alignment.
  • Empathetic, inclusive leadership and team development.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Decision-making under ambiguity and balancing technical depth with business value.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and passion for innovation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading engineering teams or managing managers.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.

  • Demonstrated success leading or working within a product-oriented team structure.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI in corporate applications and enterprise chat solutions.
  • Established record of managing multi-platform or cross-functional technology teams.
  • Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect) or Agile/Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAFe).
