Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Full Stack People Leader ( GraphQL) We are seeking a talented Senior Manager people leader to provide technical leadership and guidance in support of building out and scaling GraphQL as a platform for the Enterprise. This is a high impact role is for a technologist who can not only help design and implement scalable and performant GraphQL solutions but also help guide strategy, mentor the team, and streamline development practices. You will be a key player in shaping our technical roadmap, elevating our engineering talent, and fostering a culture of efficiency and quality. What You’ll Do: Technical Leadership: Guide the team on the technical vision and strategy for GraphQL, including schema design, API governance, performance, and security as well as guide the use of Graph in AI. Architectural Guidance: Lead the design and implementation of complex GraphQL systems, ensuring they are scalable and reliable. You'll provide expert architectural guidance to your team and others. Cross LOB Influence: Work with teams across the enterprise to develop solutions to meet their evolving needs and collaborate closely with partners in Card to build supporting platforms. Mentorship & Collaboration: Act as a technical expert and mentor, helping to guide engineers, improve their skills, and deliver high-quality solutions. Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with product managers and designers to translate business needs into technical solutions and align on project goals. Innovation & Research: Stay current with cutting edge industry trends and best practices in GraphQL, supporting AI using Graph and MCP, streamline developer experience. Evaluate and recommend new tools / approaches to enhance our capabilities. Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges, providing hands-on expertise to resolve critical issues and keep development on track. Quality & Standards: Help establish and enforce high standards for code quality, testing, and operational excellence within our GraphQL services and Agile workflows.
