Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Full Stack Enterprise Website - Capital One Software (Remote) Ever since our first credit card customer in 1994, Capital One has recognized that technology and data can enable even large companies to be innovative and personalized. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• At least 4 years of people management experience

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree
• 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 7+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems to develop, launch, and manage a B2B enterprise website.
• Perform web development on Front End Applications leveraging a test-driven development pattern.
• Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems to create a single, cohesive digital customer experience in collaboration with partner product teams.
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.
• Collaborate with digital product managers, UX designers, and content strategists to deliver robust, cloud-based digital experiences that drive traffic, engagement, and sales pipeline.
• Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript and Java, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, open source frameworks, RESTful web services, and work on cross-browser and cross-device development.
• Managing and securing website infrastructures with integrated marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and experiential platforms.
