About The Position

The Sr. Manager of Social Media and Content serves as a critical role for the L’AGENCE brand. In this role, you will develop and execute a creative and strategic social media strategy across all social media channels, showcasing the unique identity of the L’AGENCE brand. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies across all social platforms further establishing a strong connection to our community with a focus on KPIs across brand awareness, engagement, and growth. As the Sr. Manager of Social Media, you will constantly ask the question: How does social play into the bigger brand picture and act as a catalyst to drive our brand to the next level?

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience successfully managing social media for an established brand
  • Expert knowledge in Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn
  • Experience using third party social media platforms such as DashHudson, Planoly, etc.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt writing styles to suit our brand's voice and tone.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and post social media accounts in real time, with little need for oversight
  • Minimum of 4 years team management experience
  • Experience working cross functionally with Marketing teams (Influencer, PR, Performance, Creative, eComm, etc)
  • Content creation experience such as video creation and editing, photo editing, etc.
  • Managed social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok)
  • Adobe suite experience
  • Microsoft 365 experience
  • Asana or other project management system experience

Responsibilities

  • Development of cohesive, brand building strategies for all key organic platforms, inclusive of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
  • Serve as producer and program manager of live broadcasts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other channels.
  • Manage and implement a multi-platform social media content calendar in support of new collection or product launches, brand events and activations, media/KOL/influencer-generated content and more across media types (static/gif/video/voiceover/trending).
  • Manage a social media team to deliver timely, relevant storytelling across channels, as well as creating on-brand moments that cut through and drive virality.
  • Consistently answer the question of what each platform means to our brand and how can we customize our content by platform accordingly while being on the cutting edge of what’s new or upcoming.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the creative team, our fashion director, and our head of marketing to ensure content plans work to build brand positioning and drive brand growth.
  • Collaboratively develop and curate social media content strategy for our fashion director, further amplifying her presence across brand channels.
  • Bring and further develop in-house international expertise on relevant social channels and potential new outlets the brand should explore.
  • Manage social media team, not only helping to drive growth and development, but also to unlock new ideas and forms of content creation from each team member.
  • Share ideas, pose questions, and actively participate in weekly team meetings where ideas are welcome and help to fuel our improvement and growth.
  • Embrace our brand image and help us to establish a broader, bolder creative concept strategy, specific to our social channels and in line with the vision of our Creative Director.
  • Serve as our in-house expert on what will drive engagement on social, both helping to further solidify our brand visual identity, while diversifying our content mix between campaign, eCom, style authority, fashion director and user-generated content.
  • Track emerging organic social trends and identify new, innovative ways to evolve social strategy, grow the audience and drive meaningful conversations.
  • Ideate, develop, and manage creative + influencer briefing process to align with overall marketing strategy and priorities.
  • Think globally and locally. LA is our hometown, but both New York and Paris are core to our DNA. Work with brand and communications marketing teams to ensure we are keeping this in mind as work with to further establish our brand presence and positioning, specifically across KOL and influencer generated content.
  • Develop and execute a live streaming content plan to drive our brand to become a 24/7 content hub.
  • Work closely with brand Copy Director to establish an authentic, social-first tone of voice that aligns with our overall brand positioning and tone.
  • Understand the nuances of each social platform (Instagram/LinkedIn/TikTok) and the type of language that may or may not resonate. Lean into this, always ensuring the way we communicate is on-brand.
  • Engage with our community across comments, DMs and other social touchpoints to build engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Work closely with Customer Support team to provide the best client and community experience possible.
  • Use web and social media analytics platforms to measure campaign success and provide data-backed recommendations for optimization.
  • Establish social platform specific KPIs based on platform priorities and metrics of success. Platforms include but are not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing and Influencer team to establish a cohesive monthly reporting structure, showcasing the cohesive relationship between paid and organic social.
