The Senior Manager, Site Operations plays a critical role in ensuring that the Poway site operates efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company objectives.

This role is responsible for establishing operational clarity across manufacturing, QC, inventory, shipping, and systems governance. As ProSci continues to enhance monoclonal capabilities and improve inventory and data integrity, this leader will ensure reliable reporting, scalable processes, and disciplined execution. The individual serves as the primary operational interface to the General Manager and is accountable for translating strategy into consistent site performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, operations management, engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred but not required) Or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8years of experience in laboratory, life science manufacturing, or operational leadership roles.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Demonstrated experience implementing or governing operational systems (ERP, LIMS, FileMaker, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of inventory control, lot traceability, and system-of-record discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity with a demonstrated track record of accurate and reliable reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee antibody production workflows (polyclonal and monoclonal), purification, QC testing, and bottling operations to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
• Standardize, document, and enforce SOPs across manufacturing, QC, and inventory processes.
• Manage production timelines to support catalog replenishment and new product introductions (NPI).
• Establish and maintain FileMaker as the operational system of record and ensure disciplined integration with QuickBooks.
• Define and enforce ownership of Item Master, lot tracking, QC data, and inventory records to eliminate parallel systems and manual workarounds.
• Provide accurate, timely operational reporting for executive leadership.
• Own inventory accuracy across raw materials, bulk materials, and finished goods, including Min/Max planning and forecasting coordination.
• Reduce stockouts, backorders, excess inventory, and obsolete materials through proactive planning and cross-functional alignment.
• Support efficient and accurate shipping operations through improved labeling, documentation, and traceability processes.
• Maintain compliance with EH&S, OSHA, hazardous waste, and applicable regulatory requirements. Responsible for site facilities and maintenance.
• Oversee equipment calibration, maintenance schedules, and overall lab organization to maintain audit readiness.
• Lead and manage site operational staff, setting clear expectations and measurable performance standards.
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen technical and operational capabilities.
• Support the operational transition from polyclonal to monoclonal production capabilities.
• Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to align operational capacity with revenue and profitability goals.
• Drive site-level initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce cost, and increase reliability.
