The Senior Manager, Service Agreements, is a strategic leadership role responsible for the financial performance, growth, and execution of lifecycle service contracts for Valmet’s automation customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and resource planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer concerns and set priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 50%.
• Responsiveness to after-hours customer inquiries is also required.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Leadership: Manage the P&L and overall lifecycle of automation service agreements, ensuring profitability, revenue growth, and high renewal rates.
• Develop and implement strategies to transition customers from reactive support to proactive, performance-based agreements, leveraging advanced solutions.
• Ensure all contractual obligations, KPIs, and response times are consistently met or exceeded, acting as the primary escalation point for critical customer issues.
• Optimize delivery operations, ensuring the right technical competencies are deployed effectively across customer sites.
• Partner with the Sales to attach service agreements to new install base projects (greenfield/brownfield).
• Champion Valmet’s HSE policies, ensuring all on-site service activities comply with stringent industrial safety standards and near-miss reporting protocols.
