WORK MODEL #LI-OnSiteWHAT YOU WILL DO The Sr. Manager, Sales Planning & Analysis will manage accurate and timely sales plans, including production, wholesale and retail volumes, which are critical to control inventory costs for HMA and Hyundai dealers, as well as ensure that adequate stock is available to maximize Hyundai's sales potential. This position will support the Product Line Management, Sales Analysis and Forecasting and Retail Operations departments by taking a leading role in the planning, tracking, and forecasting of vehicle sales, production, and wholesale relevant to sales operation functions. As the Hyundai product line-up continues to expand and is sourced from more production regions, greater focus and attention is required to manage the production and distribution of vehicles to ensure appropriate levels of inventory.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of experience of which at least five years of directly related experience in distribution and or sales planning and analysis in the automotive industry or related experience.
  • Experience creating and presenting executive presentations and reports.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience desired.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, logic aptitude, and familiarity with statistical modeling and statistical concepts are preferred.
  • Computer knowledge includes, but is not limited to, databases, query languages, spreadsheets (Excel), and word processing.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills across diverse groups, including regional staff, Finance, Executives, etc.
  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Line Management department by taking a leading role in the planning and analysis, tracking, and forecasting of vehicle sales, wholesale and production.
  • Lead process for Systemizing National Rundown/Carflow development improving overall turnaround time and availability to all users.
  • Provide additional analyses to identify risks and opportunities in achieving our Sales objectives/targets.
  • Track and report out on ongoing changes to our Sales and Supply plans on a more consistent basis.
  • Coordinate monthly and weekly Governance Carflow meetings.
  • Maintain and update monthly carflow and rundown plans by model, region, and port.
  • Inform executive management of changes to the carflow and the subsequent impact of changes to inventory, production or sales.
  • Analyze sales trends, production status, and inventories to support sales and production plans and produce regional retail forecasts based on availability.
  • Support Senior Sales management by preparing sales associated presentations and in generating ad-hoc analyses and projects.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels including Product Line Management, Distribution Operations, HMNA, and Finance.
  • Sophisticated process and project management skills, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Effectively coach, counsel, and develop staff. Utilize the diverse talents of the staff by efficiently managing staff's time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
  • Develop and implement recommendations on future production and sales forecasts.
  • Provide detailed level analysis and recommendations to adjust sales, wholesale, and production requirements.
  • Manage vendors (define scope and ensure delivery of goods/services, monitor and drive performance, work to raise level of program effectiveness).
