The Senior Manager, Sales Engineering - South Enterprise will join the Americas Field Sales team in a remote role, reporting to the Director, Sales Engineering. This role involves managing and leading a team of Sales Engineers who will collaborate closely with the field AE team, acting as a technical expert and developing the team to build customer relationships and solve cybersecurity concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or systems engineering
  • 5+ years of experience directly managing and leading a sales engineering team
  • Demonstrated experience selling network security technologies within an enterprise environment

  • Proven track record as a subject matter expert participating in regional industry events and professional organizations
  • Deep experience managing technical sales cycles for major enterprise accounts

Responsibilities

  • Hire and develop a high-performing sales engineering team to meet the demands of our East Majors segment
  • Refine and optimize critical sales engineering processes including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept
  • Develop and deliver impactful product and solution demonstrations that resonate with complex enterprise needs
  • Provide strategic advice and support for requests for proposals (RFPs) by presenting tailored recommendations and clear business benefits to clients
