Role We are looking for a Senior Manager of Sales Engineering for our South Majors team to join our AMS Field Sales department. This is a remote role, reporting to the Director, Sales Engineering. You will lead a team of technical experts who support the sales process by translating complex product features into business value for clients, creating custom solutions, giving demos, and ensuring smooth technical handoffs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in sales or systems engineering, with at least 5 years specifically managing and directing a sales engineering team
  • Deep technical knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies

  • Experience participating in regional industry events as a subject matter expert

Responsibilities

  • Hire and develop a high-performing sales engineering team
  • Refine sales engineering processes, including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept
  • Develop comprehensive solution proposals and deliver impactful product demonstrations
  • Provide expert advice for requests for proposals (RFPs) and present recommendations to clients
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure solutions are implemented according to client expectations
