About The Position

Key Aims & Objectives: · Ensure a Program of Major Projects pro-actively establish and maintain Risk Management activities (qualitative & quantitative) as necessary. · Delivery of a range of Risk Management services to Major Project teams pre and post award, facilitating the identification and analysis of risks on projects at all stages as required, interpreting risk outputs, and communicating to relevant stakeholders as appropriate and business requires. · Supporting development of junior risk professional(s). Prime Responsibilities & Duties: · To be fully conversant with the application and use of Worley Risk Management suite of tools and chosen software applications. · To prepare, update and maintain project Risk Management activities, throughout the project lifecycle and across the Risk Management process: o To ensure the timely issue of accurate, updated Risk Management Plans and associated documents at the agreed intervals. o To provide guidance to Project personnel in defining Risk Management objectives based on project objectives and support application of the risk process. o To utilise several risk identification techniques in order to facilitate risk identification sessions. o To develop and implement risk assessment criteria as part of a project risk register. o To assist Risk Owners with the selection of appropriate risk response strategies and development of action plans to address identified risks. o To assist project or functional personnel in the familiarization and consistent application of Risk Management software tools and associated process. o To facilitate Risk workshops and develop project Risk Registers which act as repositories for all risk related information. o To conduct Cost / Schedule Risk Analysis Workshop sessions, facilitating workshops and facilitating workshops building bespoke models and interpreting associated outputs for communication / review. · To educate, support and encourage managers in the use of quantitative analysis on proposals / projects where applicable. · To promote good working relations within the internal and external teams. · Provide guidance, support, and leadership to Project disciplines in project risk management activities. · Present and provide training on a range of RM topics to internal / external audiences. Allied occasional duties: · To present to external audiences on a range of Risk Management related topics · Ongoing presentation or support to wider network of practicing Risk Management professionals. · Engage with wider Project Delivery function in corporate initiatives in Risk Management activities. Key internal interfaces: · Project Specific Functions: Project Management, Discipline Engineers, Construction, Supply Chain, Commercial, Estimating · Pre-contracts: Sales, Business Development Key external interfaces: · Client Project Representatives

Requirements

  • Associate Degree / Advanced Diploma etc. (in relevant discipline)
  • Recognized Risk Management qualification
  • Previous Project Risk Management experience across various projects, including on Major or Mega Projects
  • Specialist knowledge in Risk Management software (i.e., MCS software) and experience with quantitative cost & schedule risk analysis.
  • Demonstrable involvement / history in the relevant project industry and / or cross-over experience from a comparable technical industry. Preferably, including experience on full EPC project delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • BA or BSc degree in Risk Management, alternative subjects considered can include: Project Management, Engineering, other analytical disciplines.
  • Extensive working Risk related knowledge of the Worley industry / business line.
  • Knowledge of various industry Risk Management software / applications available.
  • Experience in internal project delivery processes and procedures
