Responsible for the growth and nurturing of the west coast mid-large market client book in the retirement business. Accountable for growing lifetime value with existing clients, driving client satisfaction, delivering on sales goals, client retention & satisfaction and building commercial capabilities across the team. Core Responsibilities: Manages staff. Provides guidance, coaching, training, and motivation as necessary to develop staff. Hires, evaluates, and counsels personnel. Follows corporate disciplinary procedures per established Vanguard standards as required. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, provides feedback and recommends wage increases/adjustments in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures. Responsible for the retention, satisfaction, and growth of clients within their assigned segment Coaches crew to strategically navigate organizations, internally and externally, with a strong commercial orientation; deeply understands clients needs, types of buyers, & how to identify and drive growth opportunities forward Lead senior and experienced direct reports and colleagues, while also holding the team accountable to high standards and developmental goals; holds crew and self accountable to financial targets Responsible for setting a clear growth and retention strategy for assigned market segment Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Eight years financial services experience with at least four years in a senior level client or prospect relationship role. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred. This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC).
