Position Summary... The Senior Manager, Regional People Partner, Transportation, leads strategic human resource initiatives to support divisional goals by developing talent management plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving risk mitigation strategies. By analyzing data and business trends, the Senior Manager provides actionable insights to optimize operational effectiveness and supports continuous improvement aligned with organizational objectives. What you'll do... Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies by analyzing business and labor trends to reduce vulnerabilities across the transportation division. Lead divisional talent management initiatives, including talent planning, performance management, and addressing talent gaps through targeted development. Ensure compliance with HR policies, legal regulations, and company standards by overseeing audits and implementing corrective action plans. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and execute workforce engagement and associate development programs aligned with corporate strategy. Drive execution of business plans by identifying operational needs, removing barriers, and monitoring performance with adaptability. Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team environment. What you'll bring: Proven experience in talent management, including developing and implementing talent plans and performance management initiatives. Strong knowledge of human resource strategy, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a large organizational context. Ability to analyze workforce and business data to identify risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies. Demonstrated skill in building collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners to drive HR solutions and business results. Experience leading teams through coaching, mentoring, and development to foster high performance. Adaptability to manage multiple priorities and support continuous learning and improvement. About the team: The Regional People Partner team supports Transportation, Safety, and Maintenance across Region 4, covering VA, DE, NH, NY, PA, NC, and NJ. This team, led by a Senior Manager, includes 10 direct reports focused on talent development, regulatory compliance, and performance management. The team collaborates closely with business partners to implement strategic human resource initiatives, mitigate risks, and enhance workforce planning. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
