About The Position

Senior Manager, Regional Business Manager needed by Celanese Polymer Products, LLC in Irving, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.;may telecommute] to Establish objectives consistent with global business strategies, drive execution, and maximize growth and profitability. Location: 222 W. Las Colinas Blvd., Suite 900N, Irving, TX 75039 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.;may telecommute]

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation assessing competitive products and developing strategies to improve product offering.
  • Evaluating overall regional pricing and providing guidance on increases and decreases needed to maximize contribution margin.
  • Communicating broad business line price increases and considering requests for less than target implementations.
  • Working on regional supply chain management and commercial teams tomanage inventory and priorities.
  • Managing product development and portfolio analysis.
  • Managing order postponements, pull-ins, credits, and samples.
  • Advising on manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain strategies and providing support in executing related initiatives.
  • Working with SAP and PS4 production and utilizing High-Performance Nylons: Phthalamide highly aromatic, Phthalamide semi-aromatic, polyamide 612, polyamide 1010, and polyamide 610.
  • 20% domestic and international travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess competitive products and developing strategies to improve product offering.
  • Drive decisions that impact payment terms, FCCI, product lifecycle management, new development support, new product launch, and post-launch tracking.
  • Optimize volume, price, and product while ensuring robust innovation pipelines.
  • Evaluate overall regional pricing and providing guidance on increases and decreases needed to maximize contribution margin.
  • Communicate broad business line price increases and consider requests for less than target implementations.
  • Work on global supply chain management and commercial teams to manage inventory and priorities.
  • Manage product development and portfolio analysis.
