About The Position

Senior Manager, Project Manager Debit Network Strategy| Retail Bank We are entering the most exciting time in the history of our debit business at Capital One. After years of outsized growth, we recently embarked on a transformative journey to convert our entire debit portfolio to the Discover network. On the other side, we are looking for strategic and collaborative teammates to join us in navigating this new frontier. As a Senior Manager, Project Manager of the Debit Network Strategy team, you will play a key role in rallying our cross functional debit team and driving work with our network partners. You will be responsible for facilitating problem solving across our broader debit team and helping to prioritize efforts with the Discover networks. You will dive deeply into the business context to drive forward our debit product strategy and be able to communicate with stakeholders across various levels of seniority. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• At least 7 Years of Project Management experience

Nice To Haves

• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

• Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, and peers
• Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
• Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time.
• Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
• Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
