As a Senior Manager on the Spend Operations team, you will be focused on the credit card clearing process and the end-to-end credit card transaction lifecycle. You will be responsible for uncovering risks, preventing breakdowns, and creating an environment that is well managed and always audit ready. You will partner with product and technology teams to drive flawless execution and establish a robust control suite. A key part of this role will be developing and leading your team, while also influencing others across the organization to adopt a ‘well managed’ mindset. General Responsibilities: Control Suite Ownership: Manage the control suite for Card Clearing including control builds, control strategy and control testing. Build controls that prevent breakdowns and/or detect breakdowns quickly. End-to-End Spend Risk Mitigation: Identify, escalate, and control risks within the transaction lifecycle (Authorizations, Clearing, and Posting) Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments including Product, Technology, Risk and Compliance. Communicate proactively to keep teams and leadership engaged and aware of risks, projects, and overall process health. Well-Managed Lead: Deliver and maintain a well-managed ecosystem for Card Clearing. This includes leading exams, risk events, controls and process documentation. Partner with Product and Tech: Understand the data and technology to proactively identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate with Product and Tech leaders to address gaps and deliver improvements. People Leadership: This role will have one direct report. Provide effective coaching, and consistent feedback. Establish clear expectations and actively develop your associate's skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience
  • At least 4 years of Project Management or Process Management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with controls or audit
  • At least 2 years of experience working with analytical, data management, or software engineering teams
  • At least 2 years of People Management experience

  • Master’s Degree or MBA
  • 5+ years of Project Management or Process Management experience
  • 3+ years of experience with controls or audits
  • 3+ years of People Management experience
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma or Business Process Management Certification
