About The Position

Senior Manager, Project Management Business Transformation (Level M) Company: The Boeing Company BDS Business Transformation has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Project Management – Business Transformation (Level M) role in support of Site Strategy and Business Affordability and Governance. In this role the candidate will be responsible for working across various functions to include program management, engineering, finance, facilities, and Business Development and Strategy across all BDS businesses and programs. Position Responsibilities: Site Optimization Secure infrastructure modernization Make Buy and Work Placement decisions Integrated investment, affordability and governance Manages employees and mid-level managers develop projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executes all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level manager The ideal candidate will be: Well versed in the defense industrial base, having a strong understanding of Boeing's strategic priorities A multi-disciplined background with understanding of technology, infrastructure and program management Able to lead a cross functional team Able to succinctly drive decision making with senior leadership

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a management role with both people and business unit leadership responsibilities?
  • 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry?
  • 3+ years of experience in leading others and directing all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry?
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
