The Opportunity… Commvault is seeking a Senior Manager, Professional Services for the Americas who is responsible for driving the successful delivery of professional services engagements across the region. This role ensures customer success through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in professional services leadership roles within technology or SaaS organizations.
  • Strong background in project delivery, customer success, and team leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage regional operations and financial performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel within the Americas region as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Cybersecurity Experience preferred
  • Experience with cloud technologies, enterprise software, or digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in Federal and State/Local government delivery
  • Experience with SFDC and OpenAir
  • Proven capability to build trust and maintain clear, professional communication with both internal stakeholders and client organizations
  • Demonstrated success with subscription-based business models, delivering both on-premises and SaaS solutions
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and partner relationships
  • Familiarity with consulting frameworks and delivery methodologies (Agile, ITIL, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a regional team of consultants, project managers, and technical specialists.
  • Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and career development within the region.
  • Manage sub-contractor relationships and staffing
  • Manage delivery out of various COEs
  • Act as an evangelist for services, assisting sales with selling and drafting SOWs, quotes, and Professional Services collateral
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of professional services engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
  • Act as a sponsor for key accounts, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to drive customer adoption and value realization including cross sell, up sell, expansion, and net new opportunities.
  • Manage internal and external escalations
  • Own regional P&L for professional services, including forecasting, budgeting, and margin optimization.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to ensure performance against targets.
  • Drive accountability for services financial goals including revenue, gross margin, and utilization across internal and partner delivery teams
  • Develop and execute regional strategies aligned with global professional services objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and innovation to meet evolving customer needs.
