About The Position

This position is responsible to assist in controlling expenses; provide for the compliance and coordination of the federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements; interpret and enforce company policies; maintain non-union program; assist in the determination of manpower needs and makes recommendations; prepare and maintain prescribed records and reports to ensure that they reflect conditions accurately; solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow up; work with department heads to meet production quality yields goals and metrics goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product; inspect and maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of housekeeping safety sanitation security and food safety; manage evaluate and train production supervisors; and oversee all designated shift operations and any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the plant manager. Requirements

  • High School diploma with equivalent experience
  • 5 plus years of related industry experience
  • 5 plus years supervisory experience in a meat processing facility
  • Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HAACP regulations
  • Standard computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of communicating well both verbally and in writing with all levels of Team Members from hourly to upper management as well as government officials
