We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to continue the evolution of our Data Platform, treating our data as a core product. Whether for in-depth insights or AI-driven travel management solutions, our clients will use the products you develop to better manage their travel program. As a data product manager, you will balance your product approach with your technical depth and passion for realizing the value of data. You will work with diverse global teams, spanning data producer and data consumer functions, to determine and execute against milestones of your roadmap. During development you will manage the backlog with key stakeholders, triage issues and risks, track resourcing needs, and regularly communicate status to leadership.

Requirements

  • Platform Experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience, specifically managing technical products, data platforms, or large-scale backend systems.
  • Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of the modern data stack (e.g., Cloud Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Streaming) and how data flows from source to end-user.
  • AI/ML Familiarity: You understand the data requirements for machine learning and how to build a platform that supports model training and inference at scale.
  • Product Thinking: The ability to apply "Product Sense" to internal tools—identifying friction points for developers and building solutions that improve their velocity.
  • Data-Informed Decision Making: You are comfortable using data to justify roadmap priorities and can articulate the ROI of technical debt reduction.
  • Communication Skills: You can effectively bridge the gap between deep technical engineering discussions and high-level business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for a centralized data platform, ensuring it meets the needs of engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Data-as-a-Product: Implement product management best practices for data, ensuring all datasets are discoverable, high-quality, and easy to consume via APIs and self-service tools.
  • AI Readiness: Build the specific infrastructure—such as feature stores and automated pipelines—required to accelerate the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for data reliability, latency, and uptime, ensuring the platform scales alongside the business.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact data needs and translate them into technical requirements for the data engineering team.
  • Governance & Security: Drive the strategy for data privacy and compliance, integrating security protocols directly into the platform workflow to ensure "compliance by design."
