Requirements

Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Major: Engineering Design or other Engineering degree
Masters degree in engineering or other closely related field
Experience in full lifecycle technology development in the Aerospace and Defense industry
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Strategic Planning: develop and implement strategic plans to drive innovation and improve engineering processes; align engineering initiatives with the broader company vision and goals; assess emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

Responsibilities

Manages and coordinates design, development, and enhancement of new and existing products/product lines.
Manages the evaluation of design feasibility and design optimization.
Ensures team meets project milestones and completes projects within established timeline.
Evaluates issues, provides resolution, and communicates to stakeholders.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
