Job Description: The Professional Services Category Manager oversees more than $150M in annual spend across Marketing, Brand, Consulting, and Financial Services. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive category strategy, establishing scalable governance frameworks, and building strong supplier partnerships that support the organization’s growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
• 8-12 years relevant experience to include 7+ Years of Procurement Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience
• Strong track record building and leading categories within Marketing, Financial Services, and Corporate Insurance
• Experience building categories in greenfield and/or M&A rich environments
• Strong negotiation skills within complex, high-value service agreements
• Proficiency with procurement platforms (Workday, Focal Point, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute 3-year category strategies for Professional Services, translating business objectives into sourcing roadmaps that deliver measurable value
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives – from market analysis through contract execution – for high-complexity service engagements
• Partner with Marketing, Finance, Legal and Operations leadership to balance creative/strategic value delivery with commercial rigor
• Build supplier panel management frameworks, including performance scorecards, business reviews, and relationship governance.
• Deliver a 4.5x ROI with cost savings and cost avoidance while improving service quality and reducing category cycle times
• Establish category policies, playbooks and intake processes that enable consistent enterprise-wide adoption in unison with our Procurement Operations team.
• Mention and develop procurement specialists as the team grows, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
