About The Position

Devoted Health, Inc has recently launched Devoted Medical Primary Care, an innovative, world-class, nationwide virtual Primary Care Provider (PCP). The purpose of this PCP is to provide an option for primary care where Devoted Health’s members are not today able to access primary care. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Primary Care Operations to further develop the clinical program and ensure excellence on key performance indicators in a manner consistent with Devoted’s values of treating every member like family. As the Senior Manager, Primary Care Operations, you will have the opportunity to develop robust clinical operations for one of Devoted Medical’s newest service lines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading provider or population health operations, ideally in primary care, with direct accountability for measurable outcomes such as visit rates, preventive care gap closure, Medicare Stars performance, risk capture, or operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to launch, scale, or optimize clinical programs, including designing workflows, implementing process improvements, and driving cross-functional execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational data into actionable insights, establish KPIs, design and build dashboards, and monitor progress toward performance goals.
  • Experience partnering effectively with clinicians, analysts, engineers, product teams, and vendor networks to solve operational challenges and improve care delivery.
  • Comfortable building processes, prototypes, or frameworks from scratch, iterating quickly, and working hands-on to achieve results in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated success layering AI tooling into workflows
  • Track record of identifying operational inefficiencies, developing solutions, and delivering measurable improvements in quality, access, cost, or satisfaction metrics.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly to both clinicians and executive leadership, lead teams, and influence stakeholders, balancing rigor, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Service-oriented leader – you operate as part of an engaged team that has a deep culture of service to members/patients
  • Eagerness to roll up your sleeves and build skateboard or framework versions of solutions to test
  • Highly organized and detail-driven

Responsibilities

  • Owns the operational agenda, including: Tracking performance across teams Implementing solutions for improvement Identifying data integration and development needs Problem solving and solutioning of efficiency opportunities to deliver on the volume, quality, cost, and other performance goals of the service line
  • Develops and monitors KPIs to ensure high-quality, compliant operations. These include, but are not limited to: Visit rate - partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure PCP patients see Devoted Medical at best-in-class rates Quality - scoping and building LLM-based quality review systems to support human-in-the-loop oversight structures, across quality domains Operating efficiency goals - continue to improve operational efficiency without compromising on clinical care quality, patient satisfaction, or clinician satisfaction
  • Partners with the Primary Care Medical Director and multiple cross-functional teams to drive execution within and beyond the borders of the product line. Specific areas of impact include: Clinical stars performance Accurate, appropriate and compliant identification, documentation, and management of medical conditions Preventive care gap closure performance Assignment fidelity
  • Supports the processes of continuous improvement and standardization of the clinical workflow
  • Prototypes and builds into the existing infrastructure (data, LLMs, underlying platform, etc) to test and learn from changes
  • Develops business cases for investments to continue growth and scaling of the program
  • Engages with delegated vendors and network provider partners to help unblock member or clinician needs (e.g. labs, connected devices, DME, etc.)
  • Partners with product managers, analysts, data scientists, and engineers to improve our clinical management platform, Orinoco, to help support care delivery workflows
