The Legal Department provides core legal support across Dolby’s functions, oversees several IP centric business areas, and leads government relations. Position Overview Dolby’s Policy and Business Affairs team is seeking a Senior Manager based in Washington, D.C. to support our global team. This individual will play an important role in our advocacy strategy, working closely with team members to support Dolby’s policy efforts before federal government stakeholders on issues involving intellectual property, technology licensing, and standardization. This role also supports Dolby’s broader business interests by collaborating with advisors and trade associations to monitor developments in geopolitics, trade, and related policy areas. While the position emphasizes intellectual property, it requires versatility and the ability to engage across a wide variety of policy topics. This position is remote within the metropolitan D.C. area and requires frequent in person meetings and events in Washington, D.C. The role reports to the Senior Director of Intellectual Property and Standards Policy.
