As a Fund Accounting Senior Manager within our Private Equity Outsourcing practice, you will provide senior-level leadership across multiple fund accounting teams, oversee complex client engagements, and ensure excellence in delivery, quality, and operational effectiveness. You will serve as a technical and strategic leader, driving consistency, developing talent, and strengthening client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of private equity fund accounting experience.
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing multiple teams or complex engagements.
  • Deep technical expertise in private equity structures, capital activity, fee and waterfall mechanics, financial reporting, and industry frameworks.
  • Strong operational discipline with the ability to influence teams, improve processes, and manage changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with demonstrated success in leading clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight across multiple fund accounting teams and private equity client engagements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all accounting and reporting outputs.
  • Serve as a technical authority on complex accounting matters, including advanced fund structures, waterfall models, capital activity, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Review complex NAV packages, financial statements, investor reporting, fee calculations, and audit deliverables.
  • Mentor Managers, Assistant Managers, and Senior Fund Accountants by providing coaching, performance feedback, and long‑term development support.
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives, driving standardization, scalability, and process optimization across the Private Equity Outsourcing practice.
  • Partner with clients on higher‑complexity needs, serving as a strategic advisor and supporting client satisfaction, retention, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with practice leadership on resource planning, engagement quality, onboarding, and continuous improvement strategies.
