About The Position

Senior Manager Participant Financial Success B2B Activation Participant Financial Success is a newly established subdivision within Vanguard Workplace Solutions (launched in mid‑2025), created to bridge the participant journey from retirement solutions to retail investor products and services. The organization is focused on positioning Vanguard as a lifelong financial wellness partner—not solely a retirement provider. This role leads a team of investment analysts delivering investment support to clients in alignment with business strategy.

Requirements

• Eight years' experience in the Financial Services industry or client services preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate degree preferred.
• Series 7, 63 and 65 or CFA or CFP equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Leads departmental strategy development and execution to bring Financial Wellness products and services to our B2B clients. Broadens the scope of service offerings, improves operational processes, and markets service offerings internally to support client prospecting activities.
• Initiates and oversees projects involving highly complex analyses of investment products and services to enhance Vanguard's position as an investment leader.
• Maintains an in-depth understanding of capital markets, asset management, and the Financial Services industry, as well as a deep awareness of competitors and the performance of Vanguard and non-Vanguard funds.
• Contributes subject matter expertise to Vanguard's external publications.
• Oversees internal partnerships and the use of external data systems or tools to support the department's analytical capabilities.
• Conducts regulatory supervision of both the registered and associated crew on their respective team and the functions these direct reports support and/or execute.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
