How will you make an impact in this role? Payment Strategy and Operations remit includes Supplier Payments, Partner Payments (Co-brand, Client Incentives, TLS, etc.), First-Line Payment Risk Governance, Spend Analytics, Customer Helpdesk, Disbursements and Travel & Expense Program Management.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a quick learning curve on understanding business processes within Payment Operations and be a key partner in driving process accuracy
  • Experience in leading teams across multiple business processes.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, operate in large cross-functional teams, and influence colleagues to drive an enhanced control environment
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels in the organization
  • 7+ years of relevant industry and risk management experience
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Process oversight and controls to focus on process risk reduction as well as Operational efficiency
  • Conducting root cause analyses focused on identifying process vulnerabilities to prevent potential operational risks (ORs)

Responsibilities

  • Lead Quality reviews across multiple payment processes covering all four regions i.e., APAC, EMEA, US and LACC, and ensuring strong quality checks
  • Drive operational efficiency and maintain high accuracy and productivity standards for the team
  • Be skilled at prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a key leader for sharing insights, better practices, and control enhancements across payment processes
  • Train, guide, and coach a diverse team in achieving robust process expertise and an ability to challenge the status quo
  • Partner via excellent collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders across business processes, and exhibit a clear understanding and knowledge of processes reviewed and overseen
  • Provide control advisory and guidance to stakeholders through strong and clear communication skills
