As Sr. Manager, Operations within JBT Marel's Poultry Division you will report to the General Manager of the Russellville, Arkansas facility. As a member of the leadership team, the SR. Operations Manager is responsible for the operations department. This department is responsible for all fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, and warehousing operations at the facility. You will have up to 45 direct and indirect reports in this role. Prior leadership of a team within manufacturing is required as you will be responsible for production planning, safety, continuous improvement, and mentorship of the team. The Operations Manager drives performance through the development of short and long-term department goals and standards for safety. Goals include meeting the standards for the Poultry industry and promoting continuous improvement, quality, cost reduction, efficient use of resources and staff, and production efficiency. You will be responsible for financial planning and performance of the department as part of your role. Safety and building an environment of belonging and inclusion is the responsibility of the Sr. Operations Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience in fabrication, assembly, production with a responsibility of safety as part of your role
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a manufacturing team to success
Fabrication, industrial engineering, safety, and production planning experience required.
Ability to plan schedules with care for revenue goals
Ability to prioritize projects within manufacturing to achieve lean efficiency goals
Large focus on continuous improvement and sustainability of manufacturing processes
Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Setting short and long-term department goals and standards for safety.
Continuous improvements in quality, cost reduction and customer satisfaction through effective planning, use of technology, and coordination with other departments and business units.
Maintain exceptional and effective communications between staff, and internal and external customers.
Plan and develop department standards aligned with JBT Marel core values.
Continuously monitor industry for best practices and technology, for improvement at the facility.
Maximize distribution of workload by utilizing all operations departments within the business unit and other JBT Marel Poultry Division site.
Mentor, develop, and guide department managers and staff.
Guide team to achieve performance goals
Provide expert operations and safety guidance based on experience to the team.
