Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital sales, or omnichannel strategy, preferably in CPG or retail.
  • Proven success managing Walmart.com or similar retail.com platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of retail media networks, including Walmart Connect.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with predictive analytics.
  • Experience with content optimization, SEO/SEM, and retail search strategies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ecommerce sales strategy and execution to drive online growth at Walmart and Sam’s Club, including building and expanding Sam’s Club ecommerce capabilities.
  • Develop and execute Walmart.com‑focused omnichannel strategies aligned with Hormel Foods’ growth objectives.
  • Serve as an internal consultant, leading workshops and influencing stakeholders to adopt digital commerce best practices.
  • Utilize Walmart ecommerce data through Scintilla to identify trends, diagnose performance, and share insights internally and externally.
  • Define KPIs for Walmart.com performance, including sales, share of search, and conversion metrics.
  • Use BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to visualize performance and communicate insights to leadership.
  • Partner with analytics teams to run predictive models, A/B tests, and test‑and‑learn programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, media, and content teams to optimize product listings, imagery, and enhanced content.
  • Apply AI‑enabled tools to optimize content, targeting, and personalization for Walmart.com shoppers.
  • Own the relationship between Hormel Foods and Walmart Connect and Sam’s MAP.
  • Manage activation across Walmart Connect, retail media networks, and paid search to maximize visibility and conversion.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between Hormel Foods’ internal teams and Walmart’s digital ecosystem.
  • Work closely with Hormel’s Walmart and Sam’s Sales Teams to embed ecommerce strategy into Innovation Meetings, Line Reviews, JBPs, CFPs, and other key sales touchpoints.
  • Communicate ecommerce results and strategic recommendations to Walmart and Sam’s Club through meetings with GMMs, DMMs, and Merchants.
  • Drive change and performance improvements across ecommerce‑specific items, Fulfillment Center operations, and Ship‑to‑Home capabilities.
