Walmart Energy’s mission is to deliver an affordable, reliable, and clean energy future for our company and the communities we serve. As one of the world’s largest electricity consumers, Walmart faces rising electricity demand, increasing grid constraints, and long-term exposure to energy cost volatility. The Walmart Energy team deploys capital, contracts, and partnerships to enable new energy infrastructure, strengthen grid reliability, and lower long-term costs for the enterprise—while advancing emissions reduction goals. The Offsite Energy Investments team leads Walmart’s grid-connected clean energy transactions, with a primary focus on tax-advantaged clean energy investments, power purchase agreement (PPA) origination, and managing our market exposure in deregulated markets. These initiatives enable new generation capacity, support grid reliability in priority markets, and deliver durable financial value that helps mitigate Walmart’s long-term electricity cost exposure. Within this portfolio, tax equity is a critical execution lever. The team works closely with developers, utilities, and internal partners to originate, structure, and execute transactions that unlock federal tax credits, attract third-party capital, and advance Walmart’s broader energy strategy. This is an onsite role based at our Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas and a full relocation package can be made available.
