About The Position

The main purpose of this position is to prepare, review and oversee all of the company’s SEC and external reporting, including forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, DEF-14, and other SEC reporting requirements as necessary, in addition to oversight of all external communications including financial data and various other monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting functions as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting and financial reporting experience preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of P.C. experience in Windows Excel or other spreadsheet applications preferred.
• Public accounting experience and C.P.A. designation.
• Excellent organizational and communicational skills.
• Ability to be detail oriented and a strong emphasis on accuracy.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting procedures.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• May require limited overtime during month end closing and quarterly reporting process.
• Skill in operating a computer terminal and P.C., including large spreadsheet applications.

• Public accounting experience and C.P.A. designation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and oversee the company’s SEC and external reporting, including forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, DEF-14, and other SEC required reporting as necessary, in addition to overseeing all external communications including financial data.
• Assist with monthly revenue accruals.
• Assist with quarterly equity method investment adjustments.
• Assist with the company’s hedge accounting function.
• Assist with the company’s lease accounting practices.
• Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.
