About The Position

The Senior Manager of Finance, Corporate is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across two primary areas: corporate expense consolidation and Corporate Real Estate (CRE) management. This role drives enterprise-wide visibility into operating expenses, partners with Finance and business unit leaders to consolidate and rationalize cost structures, and provides financial oversight of the company's global real estate portfolio. This individual partners closely with Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Workplace, Accounting, and cross-functional leaders to deliver disciplined cost management, optimize portfolio decisions, and ensure alignment with business growth, security requirements, and workforce strategy. The ideal candidate combines deep FP&A expertise with proven experience in cross-functional expense management and a strong understanding of commercial real estate economics in a global, security-focused technology environment.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Corporate Development, with direct responsibility for real estate or large fixed-cost portfolios.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including long-range planning and scenario analysis.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets in a global environment.
  • Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or data-centric companies.
  • Working knowledge of commercial real estate economics and lease structures.
  • Familiarity with lease accounting standards (ASC 842 / IFRS 16).
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced credentials.
  • Experience supporting hybrid or distributed workforce strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate corporate expenses across business units by partnering with Finance business partners to understand cost drivers and the rationale behind forecasts, while collaborating with Accounting to ensure accurate cost recognition, proper classification, and effective cost management at the corporate level
  • Own the annual planning, long-range forecasting, and rolling budget process for corporate expenses, ensuring alignment across function.
  • Identify and drive cost optimization initiative by analyzing spend pattern, benchmarking against industry standards, and surfacing savings opportunities across business units.
  • Standardize expense categorization, reporting cadences, and variance analysis processes to drive consistency and accountability across the organization.
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to the Corporate Real Estate and Workplace teams.
  • Lead annual planning, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts and cashflow for global real estate OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Own financial oversight of the global real estate portfolio, including offices, R&D facilities, workplace operations, safety & security, and other operational sites.
  • Track and analyze occupancy costs, cost per employee, utilization metrics, and ROI by location.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities while balancing employee experience, security, and operational needs.
  • Provide financial diligence and deal support for leases, renewals, subleases, and major capital investments.
  • Partner with Legal and CRE to evaluate lease terms, incentives, tenant improvement allowances, and total cost of occupancy.
  • Support M&A, integration, and divestiture activities related to real estate.
  • Develop clear, executive-ready reporting and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Present key drivers, risks, and tradeoffs related to real estate financial decisions.
  • Monitor and explain variances against plan and forecast.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
  • Partner with Accounting on lease accounting, accruals, and balance sheet impacts.
  • Support audits and ensure strong documentation and governance for real estate spend.
