About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, National Deal Pricing for Environmental Solutions is responsible for designing and owning the end-to-end pricing strategy for large, complex Environmental Solutions opportunities. The incumbent will partner with field leaders, National Accounts, Sales, Operations and Finance and leverage their deep operational and industry knowledge to ensure the pricing strategy maximizes total enterprise value while remaining competitive and executable. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute pricing strategies for high-value, complex national Environmental Solutions opportunities spanning hazardous and non-hazardous waste services. Conduct comprehensive deal evaluations that consider asset utilization, geographic implications, service mix, and contract terms to optimize enterprise-level outcomes. Assess financial, operational, and regulatory risk exposure within proposed agreements; provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risk while maintaining commercial competitiveness. Apply expert knowledge of environmental solutions operations, capacity constraints, internalization opportunities, and regulatory requirements to create pricing models that reflect business realities. Establish clear pricing parameters, thresholds, and strategic trade-off recommendations that balance short-term revenue with long-term value creation. Collaborate extensively with Area Presidents, Operations leadership, Sales teams, and National Accounts leaders to align pricing decisions with customer and business objectives. Deliver executive-ready pricing recommendations with clear rationale, risk assessment, and strategic implications. Drive consistency, discipline, and business alignment in the national pricing approach. Coaches and develops a team of professionals to assist in their development and attainment of necessary skills to lift performance. Monitors staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Deep working knowledge of environmental regulatory frameworks including RCRA, DOT, TSCA, EPA, and state-level compliance standards.
  • Exceptional business acumen with proven ability to make sound decisions in complex, ambiguous situations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with an understanding of pricing methodologies, deal economics, and contract structures.
  • Established track record as a trusted advisor to field operations and senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in environmental services, hazardous waste management, or regulated waste solutions.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Environmental Solutions, with demonstrated expertise in operations, sales, customer service, finance, or strategy.
