The Role The Senior Manager, Leadership & Learning Innovation is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for designing, delivering, and scaling enterprise-wide leadership development and learning capabilities. This role owns CCC’s leadership development ecosystem, learning governance, learning technology portfolio, instructional design, and leads the exploration, evaluation, and responsible adoption of emerging learning technologies and AI-enabled tools that improve capability development, knowledge access, and workforce productivity. Reporting to the Senior Director, People & Culture, this leader partners closely with executives, HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure learning investments are aligned to business priorities, future skills, and cultural expectations. This role plays a critical part in helping the organization navigate change by equipping leaders and employees with the mindset, skills, and confidence needed to successfully adopt new ways of working. The role also oversees continuous improvement and embedment of adult learning best practices into Lean Six Sigma curriculum development, reinforcing a culture of operational excellence and ongoing development.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in leadership development, learning & development, or organizational effectiveness roles.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide leadership development programs and learning strategies.
  • Strong expertise in learning technologies, digital learning platforms, and emerging AI-enabled learning tools.
  • Experience overseeing instructional design and curriculum development at scale.
  • Demonstrated success managing external vendors and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Prior people leadership experience required.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business priorities into learning solutions through the design of fully developed, outcome-aligned curricula.
  • Executive presence and strong influencing skills.
  • Learning innovation mindset with comfort adopting and scaling new technologies.
  • Data-driven decision-making and learning measurement.
  • Strong program management and operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership Development & Capability Building Own and evolve the enterprise leadership development strategy across all leadership levels
  • Use workforce insights, skills data, and learning analytics to translate business strategy into leadership and capability priorities to support workforce planning and build future-ready talent.
  • Design and deliver scalable, cohort-based and on-demand leadership programs aligned to CCC’s leadership expectations and business strategy.
  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to identify priority leadership capabilities and curate targeted development experiences.
  • Ensure leadership programs integrate coaching, experiential learning, and practical application to drive behavior change and performance impact.
  • Embed change leadership, adaptability, and coaching skills into leadership development programs to help leaders effectively guide their teams through transformation, including AI-enabled change.
  • Enterprise Learning Strategy, Technology & Innovation Own the strategy, governance and the evolution of CCC’s employee development ecosystem including learning platforms, content libraries, and digital learning tools and analytics.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and optimization of learning technologies, with a strong focus on AI-enabled learning and personalization.
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to drive AI enablement from a people, skills, and adoption perspective, ensuring leaders and employees are prepared to embrace change and new ways of working
  • Leverage learning needs analysis (LNA) and data insights to prioritize investments and continuously improve learning effectiveness.
  • Instructional Design & Curriculum Development Ensure enterprise standards for instructional design, content quality, and learner experience.
  • Oversee the design, curation and maintenance of CCCs core curriculum ensuring high-impact learning content across leadership, professional, and functional skills.
  • Support the development and scaling of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement curriculum in partnership with business leaders.
  • Ensure learning experiences are practical, accessible, and aligned to adult learning principles.
  • Vendor Management & External Partnerships Own learning and leadership development vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance management, and renewal decisions.
  • Curate external content, programs, and partnerships that complement internal capabilities and address emerging skill needs.
  • Ensure strong governance, cost discipline, and measurable outcomes across vendor-supported initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership Lead, coach, and develop a team of learning leaders, continuously building capability across internal facilitation, leadership development and learning technology and analytics.
  • Foster strong collaboration across People & Culture, IT, and business functions to ensure learning solutions are integrated and adopted.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent development, skill building, and organizational capability needs.
