We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Labor Operations & Strategy to lead the development, optimization, and execution of our enterprise labor strategy across hundreds of locations. This high‑impact leader will strengthen workforce performance, elevate scheduling and staffing practices, and ensure our field teams have the tools, insights, and support needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences, every time. Requirements

  • 7–10+ years in labor strategy, workforce management, or operations leadership
  • Experience in automotive service, retail, hospitality, or multi‑unit operations
  • Deep understanding of automotive labor models (flag/flat‑rate, productivity, capacity)
  • Proven ability to improve PTIM, scheduling, and workforce deployment
  • Experience leading analytical or workforce teams
  • Strong analytical capability with BI tool proficiency
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with Paycom, Kronos, Reflexis, or similar workforce systems
  • P&L partnership experience strongly preferred
  • Automotive operations experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build, evolve, and operationalize labor strategy across multiple store formats.
  • Establish enterprise labor guardrails and performance standards (PTIM, overtime, FOH/BOH mix, staffing-to-sales alignment, schedule execution, and more).
  • Lead Workforce Managers across regions, ensuring consistent scheduling standards and staffing model adoption.
  • Participate in regional business reviews and guide leaders through labor KPIs and action planning.
  • Partner with market and regional leadership to identify gaps and drive labor optimization.
  • Lead Field Labor Analysts and oversee Workforce Managers.
  • Own enterprise labor reporting, analytics, and data integrity.
  • Drive adoption of workforce tools including Paycom, BI dashboards, and internal scheduling systems.
  • Identify trends, surface insights, and prioritize interventions for underperforming regions.
  • Build simple, scalable labor tools, templates, and dashboards.
  • Integrate labor strategy into daily operating rhythms and SOPs.
  • Ensure tools and processes are intuitive for store and district leaders.
  • Develop and deliver training on PTIM, labor management, and capacity planning.
  • Reinforce labor understanding as both a cost control and revenue driver.
  • Create ongoing “tune‑up” programs to strengthen field labor execution.
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance rhythms.
  • Work with Technology on enhancements to scheduling systems, automation, and BI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with HR on workforce planning, incentives, change management, and staffing models.
  • Research industry best practices and lead pilots to improve throughput and labor utilization.
