About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex projects that deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and secure solutions aligned with business objectives. In this role, you’ll ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and performance goals while managing stakeholder engagement and reducing risk. You’ll serve as the key liaison between sponsors, committees, and the PMO, providing accurate reporting and insights for decision-making. This position is critical to driving successful outcomes and promoting best practices in project management across the organization. This is a remote role

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of dedicated project management experience.
  • At least 7 years managing IT projects (software development, infrastructure, helpdesk, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive results in complex environments.
  • PMP or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in managing projects

Responsibilities

  • Plan & Manage Projects: Develop and refine project plans, budgets, and schedules; ensure alignment with business cases and governance frameworks.
  • Execute & Deliver: Lead project teams, manage resources, monitor progress, and ensure quality deliverables from kickoff through closure.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks; implement escalation and resolution strategies.
  • Coordinate & Report: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, provide regular status updates, and ensure transparency on KPIs, risks, and milestones.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Advocate for project management best practices and contribute to organizational learning and continuous improvement.
