About The Position

Roblox is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Investor Relations Lead. Reporting directly to the VP, Investor Relations, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our communication strategy with the investment community, focusing on the financial performance, strategic vision, and growth trajectory of the company within the dynamic consumer technology, gaming, and media/entertainment landscape. This role requires a dedicated, detail-oriented, and cross-functionally collaborative professional who can translate complex business and financial information into a clear and compelling investment narrative for Wall Street.

Requirements

A minimum of 6-10 years of progressive experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a preference for experience at a publicly-traded technology, gaming, or media company.
Financial and Capital Markets Acumen: Strong foundation in financial reporting, valuation methodologies, and capital markets dynamics.
Industry Knowledge: Deep interest and understanding of the consumer technology, gaming, and media/entertainment industries.
Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to distill complex data into clear, concise, and persuasive narratives.
Analytical Prowess: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and compliance guidelines, including Reg FD.
Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with both internal stakeholders and the external investment community.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Investor Communication and Engagement Support the Quarterly Earnings Cycle: Be a primary contributor in the preparation and delivery of quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, scripts, Q&A documents, and investor presentations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Serve as a Key IR Contact : Handle day-to-day inquiries from institutional investors and sell-side analysts, providing timely, accurate, and Regulation Fair Disclosure (Reg FD) compliant responses.
Investor Outreach: Help plan, organize, and execute investor conferences, non-deal roadshows (NDRs), and investor meetings, including preparing briefing materials for senior management.
Message Development: Collaborate with the VP, IR and cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Communications, Product) to develop and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all investor touchpoints.
Market Intelligence and Analysis Financial and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of Roblox’s stock performance, shareholder base, and key financial metrics.
Peer Benchmarking: Monitor and analyze competitor performance, market trends, and industry developments to inform internal strategy and external messaging.
Sentiment Reporting: Track and summarize sell-side analyst research, market sentiment, and key investor perceptions to provide actionable insights and reports to the VP, IR and senior leadership.
Financial Modeling: Maintain and own the "model of models" for analyst consensus estimates, comparing against internal forecasts and peer benchmarks.
Strategic and Operational Support Compliance and Governance: Work closely with Legal to ensure strict adherence to all SEC and stock exchange rules and regulations, including supporting disclosures in public filings.
IR Website Management: Oversee the content and accuracy of the Investor Relations section of the company website.
Special Projects: Support the VP, IR on special projects such as ESG/Sustainability reporting for the investment community, Capital Markets Days, and ad-hoc analysis for the Board of Directors.
